Well this is a gengeric question. And TDI doesn't really mean anything it helps to know what the vehicle itself is. Is it modified what are your mechanical skills.

No sense carryng parts that you do not have the ability to fix so my suggestion is to start by reading a few lists that have already been compiled and see what is in you realm of ability to carry purchase and repair.
