Good God, what is wrong with Husqvarna's design team? They two most recent submissions have been the ugliest things on two wheels I have ever seen! :Wow1:

what is wrong with Husqvarna's design team?

Could be related to this (from motorcycle-usa.com post):

"Perhaps most interesting is Husqvarna's targeted pitch toward young riders. The debut press announcement mentions “young” and “first-time” riders repeatedly. It E-ven uses the E-lectric E-marketing shtick, promising that “on the Concept E-go, urban traffic will seem like a videogame that will be fun and easy to skilfully nE-gotiate.”

The bid for the youth sector makes strategic sense, particularly in the European market. While the current performance of electric motorcycles flag behind traditional ICE designs, they are comparable to the low-displacement horsepower-restricted mounts mandated by Europe's tiered licensing laws."

I dunno, kinda refreshing to see something new design wise.

Like it or not electric bikes are going to be the future, maybe multi-trail users will start to get along. I doubt it though...the complaint goes from "I heard you coming from a mile away!"...to
"You scared the crap out of me because I couldn't hear you coming!" LOL

The design is similar to the lines of the KTM 690 Duke.

I love the extra pain points on the seat!

Dukes are sweet

Ha ha didn't even notice that, I think they are trying to mimic the step seat like on the 450 MXers, (yet leave room for a passenger?)The 4Ts have so much power anymore, need a little help to keep your butt from sliding off under hard acceleration.

I just wish they had a bit more longevity to them. Someone brought an electric bike to the Expo this year. It was nice, it was near silent, it was comfortable in every way I could think of. They said it could run for about an hour and then on typical 110 it took about a twenty four hour charge to get up and go for another hour! What the heck! I know I know, it is a young market, but I just do not know how anyone can afford to get into it when it works for such a short time frame.

And the bike above looks like a kids bike not one meant for someone older than about five or six.
