Body lift question.

Thinking about a body lift now instead of suspension. Reason being that I don't want to screw with the factory geometry right now.

My question is how to lift the bumpers to match the body again??

Any cutting/ welding??

Yes on both counts. You may be able to drill new holes into the stock brackets or you might have to make new ones. Myself, I elected to use an entirely different bumper which necessitated all of the above.

i just pulled my bumper off, and feel confident that you will need extension brackets. there is not enough real estate to drill new lower holes. id say a piece of 4x6 3/16" plate would work for each. dunno though.

ive decided to try and pop out the quarter dent as best as possible, cut the tips of the quarters off, and build a new bumper. will re use the back up lights and convert them to led, and incorporate a hitch. probably design it to easily shift for the future body lift. also gonna work on some rock sliders when the funds allow as well.front bumper will be last.

There are some TG taco sliders on fleabay for @$160 shipped. Thinking 'bout picking some up. They are the 58" ones.
