body mount bushings

Hi Everone,

I am wondering if I need to replace the body mount bushings now?

I will be making a new interior with a wooden floor from the rear of the front seats to the back of the truck. So the bolds will be covert after that.

I am not sure if need to replace now but within the next years probably ... therefor I want to do the last 4 at least.

Actually I cannot find these rubber bushings in the net, only for F-Series trucks  any suggestions?

Also I have no (clear) idea how to get them out. The bushing I am for the most, I recently pulled out the bold, so that will be no issue.

On my 2003 E350 I had the body mount bushings replaced before I started the flooring. Apparently a good decision since the shop told me afterwards that it was such a pita they wouldn't be offering the service to any other van owners. Lol

The body mounts are these:

http://www.dormanproducts.com/gsear...20Duty&origin=YMM&parttype=Body%20Mount%20Set

The front two mounts are the short bolts -055, the rest are the -056. Don't know why they list the -057...My van didn't have a mount that tall. On an EB van there are 14 mounts. approximately $40 each.

right - thanks. "Position" means from front to back - correct? I have an RB one, these are 12 in total, as far as I know. Though I´ll check how many needs an exchange, the ones in the front can be made, when they are shot, I think.

PS: Are these any different on years? Mine is a 1993, very early one.

I don't think there are any significant differences between the years for body mounts.

Position is called out front to back, yes.

I've done a couple body mount bushings and if there's any rust be prepared for a lot of cursing, swearing and bleeding.

The shop that did it for me charged me $157 for parts. Unfortunately they didn't list a part number. Sorry.

Thanks to all.

Not sure if I should post it like this ...
The body mount No 4 isn't actually defect or worn they are different - in my case - from the other ones, which I couldn't see the first time accurately. No 4 has vertical shots around at the upper rubber. The other ones don't. I thought it's sign of torn rubber as often seen....

After loosening 4 bolts I found out. Anyway, the bolds are in in 5 mins.
