Bottle jack to wheel adapter?

Does anyone know where to find a jack adapter like this.

This is a picture of Tom Sheppard's G-wagen. I looked through everything I could find with little luck.

Thanks for the help.

Oh no....one more thing for me to reverse engineer.

I thought about using a hi-lift version, but this is so much more elegant, and you don't have to worry about the top of the hi-lift getting friendly with the body or fender.

I'm thinking for my Dodge, with the full float front and rear hubs, that I should be able to just use a section of pipe that was turned to fit over the hub snugly. Then just angle cut the other end to provide some clearance for the jack piston. If you lift of the 'top' surface of the tube the tire should not try and rotate at all. Maybe weld in a small ring to hold the jack piston from slipping in and out.

I'll knock something up. It would be handy to have.

Yes - Tom has his custom-made. Also must be fitted to each type of wheel, which might be what's preventing mass production. Too bad; it's a brilliant concept.

I like this idea. Please share if you follow through with the mock up.

Tomorrow I will dig through the steel bin. I think I should be able to find something that will work. I need to measure, but I am pretty sure the front and rear hubs are different diameters. I wonder if that will matter much? If I can find something close it shouldn't take but a few minutes to make something.
That will be a good lunchtime project.....

Hmm, I just realized the the FF assemblies on my hubs are tapered to the lockout dial. It's going to be hard to have any kind of friction surface that I trust.

You guys are making me wish I found a way to adapt my M725's Helo hooks to the 14 bolt and D60 that's under it now :)

Make the cradle in a 'V' instead of round. Then it will work with nearly any size wheel hub.
However, something to note in the original picture is that the lower 'legs' would appear to grab the center of the wheel's outer edges. That would keep the assembly from working it's way off the wheel or hub axially. Some similar functionality needs to be incorporated.
