Bought another Range Rover Classic.

It's a 1995 LWB. 4.2. It'll be restored this year.

But this one is weird.

Anyone heard of this performance upgrade before. Trust me there's no performance right now.

Not heard of that particular upgrade. I will do some research though. I would be interested in finding out what that "upgrade" includes, or if it is someone's last name put on for fun.

Have a good one,
Jon

If you care to have the steering column tilt more than an inch I would be glad to trade you some question and answer time if you would be willing to do the same for me in regards to the 6.2L swap. I am saving up for an adapter at the moment, but then I will be doing that particular engine swap too.

I did some googling, but I didn't find anything. All I can tell is they stuck a cone filter on it and a hole in the fender with some mesh. It won't be crossing any rivers that way. The Range Rover engineers would not approve.

Hmm...I am not turning up much. My bet, it was an engineer or an engineering students prized possession for a while. Judging by the quality of the graphic, and the circa 2003ish side marker light, I would take a guess that it was a younger engineer who probably modified it back around then. I could be wrong though. I couldn't find any "Slagel" Rover tuner, shop, or engineering house. I did find find a few Slagel engineers though, but none that live in or near Utah. Any idea if the Rover is originally from Utah?
Might be easy to find out though. If it is amateurish work on the side vent, that will be a dead giveaway.
