Youch, wvtradbow! That is terrible. To be honest, I was really scared when I bought this truck. I called several dealers and they all said they would inspect it but that they no longer did he frame replacements. I took it in to the one who did my friends for the inspection with fingers crossed and fully expecting to have been screwed out of $13k by the dealer who sold me the truck. I'm grateful this worked out, and I'm sorry to hear about people that are getting different answers from Toyota. Maybe you should try a different Toyota dealer and see if you get different results?

Yea I may question it again,I was well aware of the frame issues when I bought this one, an although I feel most of these Toyotas in this area look like they been dipped in rust,i took a hammer all over it when I got it last month off Ebay in Ripley. When I was doing some brake work I found a bubble on the frame an turns out to be a hole about the size of 1/2 dollar, but it could've been a lot worse.. I payed $5500 for this one with 162k miles it's replacing a 91 extra cab with 200k an it still runs great an the only frame issue with it is a cross member but the 22re is getting tired..I'm kinda impressed with this 3.4 standard on how much zip it has..
