I finally got some new tread for the tacoma. 235 85 r 16 bfg all terrains . Thats 32x9.5 if you were wondering. So far they feel great. Time to go test them off the beaten path. I am looking forward to El Camino Del diablo.

Well the roof rack came out great. Very solid. Just need to paint the brackets. It is made out of 1.25-0.120 wall for the outer and 1.0-0.120 for the cross braces. Put it on the scale and it only weighs 25 pounds :Wow1:. We will see how it holds up this weekend making a run for the El Camino Del Diablo, Yuma to Ajo this weekend. I have walked all over it and it is pretty stout.

Well it has been a little while since i have updated. I finished my rear bumper and installed some icon rear remotes with deaver springs.

The catch is i used a set built for a 2005+. I had to build new shock mounts for the rear and for the springs i just used the top two spring factory spring in replacement of the top two Deaver springs to locate the axle in the correct location. My impression is they work great. Added just enough lift and the ride is great.

The flex is great.

As far as the rack it is holding up great. For the most part I keep my hids off. I was having a whistling problem so a created a diverter plate and everything went back to normal.

Sure I put them just under my camper shell tight. Clamped them with a c clamp. Then drilled the holes in the bed. And bolted them with carriage bolts. They work great.

The project over this last weekend has been to start fabbing a new front steel bumper. I started out with 3/16 steel plate and 1/4 mounting brackets. I am still in process. But here are some pics of the process.
