Interesting these days I'm not to brand specific all the major builders have pluses and minuses knowing that GM products would have a good reputable after market suspension builder would make the Canyon an interesting alternative to the Tacoma.

Yes it would... the exterior of Colorado looks better to me than the new Tacoma. It sucks it doesn't come with a manual trans.

Arb should also have some good aftermarket products coming for this platform as well.......it has been for sale in Australia for a few years.....

ARB probably would only need minor changes to their current bumper offerings for the global rig given the US spec version may have slightly different brackets etc however thats a whole lot easier than building a ground up new bumper template for the US spec truck. However following the payload thread I could see lots of value about really being cautious about weight on aftermarket gear being added to the midsized trucks. Weight always seems to be the driving factor guys decide to sell and go to a larger rig or back track and simplify things some to shed weight.

I emailed ARB USA a month or so ago and inquired about whether or not they'd be building a bumper/bull bar for the new Colorados and I was told that they will be offering it and it is currently under development.
