building a sliding window?

Does anyone have a good source for the parts needed to build a sliding window, something like the sliding window in a camper shell? I'm not looking to buy a window...but rather the parts like the channels, aluminium extrusion, felt runners, etc.

Any help would be great....totally striking out on this one....

What about buying a window bigger than you need and cutting everything down to size . It would probably be cheaper to buy a used window and do this than to buy the materials new.

I'm not sure you will come out ahead buying the moldings, etc. and making your own. Some of the built ones are awful cheap.

Also as said, ones pulled out of wrecked RVs can be a source for parts.

I'm not sure I'd try making a sliding window. I have considered hinged slant out ones so I can get double paned windows on a thin wall.
