Long-time lurker, first time poster. Back in May 2019, I decided to build a sleeping platform and drawer system for my 2018 Toyota 4Runner. I posted a long writeup on my blog, (https://zacs.site/blog/building-my-4runner-sleeping-platform.html) so check that out for background information, my design criteria, and the build process. I’ll just post photos here, and take questions. I look forward to everyone’s feedback. I put a lot of work into designing this system, and took my time during the build. I have yet to run into any problems with it, and I do not foresee encountering any in the future. It gives me lots of storage, a great camp kitchen, and allows me to sleep in my vehicle in a pinch. This system made my 4Runner a viable backcountry adventure platform, and just what I needed for my first big trip.

Again, I posted a long writeup on my blog, (https://zacs.site/blog/building-my-4runner-sleeping-platform.html) so check that out for background information, my design criteria, and the build process. Looking forward to hearing what you all think.
