Annie Seel is a Swedish motorcycle racer and adventurer. Among her credits, Annie has competed in four Dakar events, including the 2010 race in Argentina and Chile.

In 2003, Annie was part of a group that tried to set an motorcycle altitude record on Mt Everest. With a couple of assists from porters making their way up the trail to the advanced base camp, Annie rode her stock Honda XL250 to an altitude of 5305 meters.

I have read a couple of reports about a Chinese group that managed to get to 6100 meters on Mt Everest in 2006. The record for an unsupported rider is about 5700 meters in India. See http://www.60kph.com/interact/marsimekla_tips.htm
