Hey guys i have a 90 P/U and im looking for Mount ideas...

i have seen the ones under between hood and fender. do any of you use those and have pictures and know which one to use and where to get it?

There's one on WalcottCB that says it's for a T100 - I bet that one would work - or any generic low profile one should work.

Glass mounted antenna's DO Not work well. Don't bother.

In theory, any of the antenna mounts will work for your truck... Some of them will look goofy though.

BajaTaco used a universal-fit mount (made by Firestik) very similar to this one: ---> http://www.walcottcb.com/product_info.php?cPath=293&products_id=311

Here's a photo of his installation, I don't think he'll mind if borrow the image for the sake of example... You may note that BajaTaco had to shim the mount that he used because that portion of his truck's hood-channel curves downward. However, if you use the T100 mount, as recommended by SAR_Squid79, you shouldn't have to shim the mount because it's designed for the curved hood-channel of the T100, which is similar to that of the other Toyotas.
