Callsign help

Hey Guys, I had gotten my tech license back in high school, but never had the funds to get a radio and have since forgotten my callsign.

I found a site that will let you look up a callsign based on persons name; however you have to be a "gold member" to do it. Is anyone here a member of this site: http://hamcall.net/cgi-bin/searchr.exe , or does anyone have another way that I may retrieve my callsign? Sorry if this is a noob question.

Thanks
Robert

As long as high school was not too long ago, you can search by name to find your call sign and FRN numbers on the FCC site - http://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/UlsSearch/searchLicense.jsp

Hope this helps.

Hmm I guess it was too long ago (6 years), I don't see it on this site. My name and everything shows up on the site I originally posted, and it identifies Technician, so I assume my license still valid.

Thanks for trying though!

KG6BRB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANKS SO MUCH!

Now to actually get a radio and get into the hobby! (hmm need to refresh on all the rules..time to research!

Been more than 6 years.. Your license will Expires: 2010-06-09.
Make sure you renew it so you will not have to re-take the test.

You can renew it (within 90 days of expiration, I think) on that same site, qrz.com - no drama involved.
