Camp chef single burner stove....

old .45

Observer
My old coleman single burner gave it up at Expo East this year....... had to find a replacement, enter Camp Chef! I purchased the "Striker" model 100 that uses isobutane fuel canastersat Expo and used it for 3 meals.. it works fine and seems to me to be very well constructed. It will use Coleman bottles and the stabilizer legs will with work for them, also I have one small fuel canister too. One large fuel canister will fit in the removable pot for storage, I like that! when I got home I was able to use a HF hard box to carry the stove, with pot, one small and 2 large fuel canisters, the legs and the available pot support and simmer plate nicely! Oh, the pot also has a removable neoprene sleeve to help keep the contents hot and also inside measuring marks for reference for heating specific amounts of contents, a top and a handle that does not get hot! It boils water very fast and I like the way you can tune the flame. Only used it like I said for 3 meals but so far much better than the old Coleman..RIP we shall see. Does anyone else here have the same stove, if so how do you like it?
