Camper Shell Accessories. (Photos Please)

Well I have been lurking for a while and decided it was time to make my first post.

Here's the situation. I have a 99 f150 and bought a second hand topper (for $40 bucks). Since I am a shop teacher I took it to school and had the students pull the windows and busted up rear door. They have painted it to match and painted the inside black. Now I have them making me a new rear door. (Ill post pics after school tomorrow. Now I am trying to decide what I want to add inside. I know I will want some lighting and some sort of sleeping platform but I am looking for some photos and suggestions to add.

I wont be leaving this on full time, mostly I got it to put on when I go camping with my dog. So I am wanting something easy to remove and store.

Thanks alot. I will check out the thread. After bouncing some ideas off the students at school we decided to build an interior structure to mount items like an axe, shovel and jack. I will let you know what I decide on a camping platform.

You're lucky to find a great deal on the top. Mine is a 99 f-150 as well. I'm thinking to mount the ax, jack, shovel between the frame and body underneath the bed, lots of room down there between the body and frame. My thinking is that they will be dirty items and want to keep the bed as clean as I can. I'm leaving the spare down below as well.

Might want an overhead shelf forward, maybe a cabinet like an overhead console. Where does your aux battery go? Lighting inside? Slides under the platform, stove, sink and fridge? Gonna have a heater? A mount for the heater might be good. Where do you keep the water and pottie john? Any insulation?

Nice wood slides with fold down legs might work. Custom screens for ventilation? Shore power connection if you have a gen set. Might as well put a drop down DVD inside on the roof too. :)
