so continuing on -
here's a one of inside the tent... the bed hasnt been setup yet. Mattress is a queen size mattress so can be replaced with a spring mattress from your home etc - the tonneau cover has been made 100mm taller for this if i decide to go this route..
also in the pic, you'll see two slots towards the bottom of the pic. These slots are zippered to allow a step to be slotted into its frame that is welded to either side of the wheel arch. The step is stored under the mattress when not in use...
and access into the trailer tub from inside the tent is good too..
I didnt order this unit with any electrics so this is my project over the next couple of days. Will be installing a 100ah AGM battery in the toolbox and running some cables through to the rear of the camper and through the bed base into the tent. I've bought from strip LED's so i'll be putting some lights in and running some plugs to run my fridge etc...
i've also run a heavy duty cable from the dual battery setup on my rig to the rear tow bar through which i can connect the car to the trailer (thus letting my alternator charge all my batteries when the car is running)...
this is a 50amp anderson plug running to the towbar on the Paj.
and this is the partner lead on the trailer - it runs into the toolbox and will be connected to the battery.
well that's about it for the moment. I'll be taking some more pics as i do some work on the trailer...
the maiden voyage is starting this Sat when we're off to a place called Esperance on the south east coast of Western Australia for around 10 days. We're looking forward to giving the camper a good run so lets see how she travels.....
