Can anyone recommend a good lift kit for 2005 Grand Cherokee?

I have a stock 2005 Grand Cherokee that cannot make it over the crux maneuver on Goler Wash and down Steel Pass. Has anyone modified a 2005 Grand Cherokee and had success? How much clearance were you able to get? Are you happy with the lift kit modifications (or thinking that trading it in for a 4-seater Rubicon or Wrangler is the best way to go)? Wish I'd kept my 1993 Jeep Cherokee (which I bought new). I got 398,000 miles on the original engine and trannie, and it went most everywhere.

Maybe look into Old Man Emu suspension from Australia??


Grand Cherokee WK lifts are about 1.5" in lift height.
