I would love to have pressurized water so that I can hose off some items. It seems an air compressor could be very useful in general and I was wondering if its easy to outfit an air compressor to also be able to spray water?
Absolutely, we use a siphon gun with a 5 gallon bucket full of water to knock the dust and dirt off of break-downs in the field, just remember that you will work a compressor pretty hard so give it adequate cool down periods!
the gun we use is like this one https://www.amazon.com/Milton-S157-...TF8&qid=1496248546&sr=8-3&keywords=Siphon+Gun
There are a couple of methods depending on the force you need....
you can tank a metal weed sprayer and add a shrader valve which will save you the hassle of pumping.
you can also do something like the link above which is pretty cool.
However I really recommend you get a good compressor, I have used Extreme Outback on a few rigs and beat the snot out of them, mounted under my rig on the frame rail and the 100% duty cycle means the just work. Family owned company that will take care of you.
