Can I modify a Four Wheel Camper to fit my truck or should I sell it?

I purchased an four wheel camper sight unseen just knowing it would work. I believe its a 1993 ranger II model. It would sit on the middle of the bed rails of my f250. Should I try and put a plate under it to stabilize there and some blocks under the camper because of bed height. Or sell and search for another camper? I would also need to trim down the rear angle section, but I have seen this done many times.

Making a raised platform to clear taller bedsides is very common. Some need 2x4 height others report that a thick rubber mat was enough. Sort out your height get er done. Make sure you check the tiedowns a few times on the first trip or two as it all settles.

another thing I was curious about was how easily these are removed. I also have a 5th wheel that I use and would like it not to be such a big hassle. can I add manual jacks to this camper? Starting to believe I should have sprung for a full on truck camper instead of this one.

Consider a used Northstar built for the truck.
