I come in Peace
Thanks again, but I am planning to have 4 cans permanently mounted on the camp trailer. I will use the two metal Blitz’s I already have and then get 2 Wedcos. I do have a question for you though. Are your cans pre CARB or post CARB, and if post CARB, do they leak? I don’t care if they leak while pouring—heck, my Blitz’a do that so it is nothing new, and I am probably going to get a super siphon anyway—I am just concerned if the new CARB Wedcos leak during transport. I read one post on here that they do not leak and another that they do, so I would like to get some more feedback from anyone who has used the new CARB Wedcos.

Non carb.. I carry a 10L inside the cruiser and forget that it's even in there.

If you are careful you don't spill a drop when filling.

Great pics and great report!

When you came through Dixie Valley, did you see the geo-thermal power plant there? I passed it back in the late '80's, the last time I was in Dixie Valley.

It didn't take many NV trips to figure to carry lots of extra gas. I now use a 4runner with a 17 gallon OEM tank, a 26 gallon aux fuel tank and one 5 gallon jerry can - can't have too much!

Thanks,

Al

Yep the geo-thermal plant is still there. Strange to be driving along with only the occasional ranch and then come across a huge industrial complex.

Yep, they are 5 gal Blitz's. 2 metal ones & one short fat plastic one. I think the metal ones would not leak if I used a wrench to tighten the "bung" cap on. (The plastic one would not leak if it was empty :sombrero: ) I want to get two more metal cans and will probably go with Wedcos.

Sent you a PM...
