Changing JK Power Windows to Manuel?

Has anyone look in to changing their JK power windows to manual windows? My wife's Liberty has lost two already and I have had to do the old license plate trick for now till I can find some cheep replacement and that got me thinking the power windows on the JK is the only option we have that I really done care about having. What all would I need??? Just the new manual window regulator for the four doors and the cranks or would I need new interior panels too...

OR anyone in Texas want to trade door guts :sombrero:

You want to change your windows to a Mexican named Manuel? ;) jk I couldn't resist.

I thought about doing this because all the new Rubcons come with power windows and I don't want them.

I expect the easiest thing to do would be to find someone with the same color jeep and hand-crank windows and just swap doors....
You could also pull your dash apart and get them all the wiring and switches for the power windows.
I expect you'd be able to find someone that wants to upgrade to power windows and will actually pay you to make that trade.

Just my idea, anyway.

Jam a License plate up under the bottom of the window carrier and the support bar in the door.

Hmm, I actually love the power windows in ours- especially the one touch down for the front. I guess I'm willing to deal with regulators that go bad. It seems most new(er) cars have a crap design for them as I just did the 3rd on my wife's 325 yesterday. However, it was only $60 for the part and less than an hour to do, so I guess the convenience outweighs the annoyance, and I can't think that the Jeep would take longer or cost more. But I also like all the electronic gadgets in mine so I'll just shut up.
