Charging the trailers battery from the vehicle

I've been trying to figure out this solution and haven't yet. I've trued searching but to no avail.

I have the die hard platinum pm1 marine battery and I'm trying to figure out how I can charge it from the vehicle while driving. Can the trailer harness accomplish that? I already have a dual battery set up in my truck with a platinum marine and starting battery. How can I add the trailer into the mix?

I ran 2 gauge power and ground leads from my battery to the rear of my LJ with anderson connectors. Then made a whip to go from there to the trailer. I was thinking of running the 7 way pin but decided against it. While driving on the road I would connect the batteries and when parked or camping I would simply remove the whip to prevent the trailer setup from drawing down my main battery. Alternatively you can use the nat luna dual battery controller which will make keep your main and auxiliary batteries safe from discharge but I'm not sure how that setup would work if you already have a 2 battery system in the 4runner.

If you already have separation/isolation set up on the truck, the trailer battery would be parallel with your "house battery" on the truck. I've done the same using a 8 gauge wire thru the 7 pin plug. When parked, current draw will be from both the trailer battery and the truck "house battery". Be sure and fuse every section.
