Chassis Grease

The shop guide specifies NLGI #1, 2, and 3 grease for lubing different chassis points, and I'm having a hard time finding #3 grease. Any suggestions?

NGLI 3 grease falls into the extreme pressure, high temperature, lithium based group of greases. This is the sort of grease you would use in a winch.
Any grease that falls into this group should be fine to use where NGLI 3 is specified.

I actually use a synthetic extreme pressure grease in my winch, as it does not separate over time, as most other greases do.

What brand? Non-separating grease is the Holy Grail for my grease gun

The synthetic EP grease I use is Inox MX6.
It is Australian made, so I don't know how available it is elsewhere.

Everything I can find that says "extreme pressure, high temperature, lithium..." is marked as NLGI #2. It looks like the only chassis point calling for #3 is the propeller shaft center bearing -- would it be that big of a deal to just use #2 on this?
