Cherokee Trailhawk vs. Grand Cherokee Laredo

I think they only did the Grand Cherokee Trailhawk for 2013. (I have one.) I think for 2014 they moved the Trailhawk name to the Cherokee and quit using it with the GC...

I purchased a Diesel Grand Cherokee Summit at the first of the year after looking at Range Rovers, G wagons (used ones),Land Cruisers, even after owning my 08 FJ since new (which I will probably never will sell because it's just great)I was looking for more power, better mileage, wanted a diesel,Also more Highway creature comfort,I felt a better fit for me (THE DIESEL) wasn't out there.
After owning and driving on a couple trips I love the driving of this SUV .I never bought it to rock crawl but when I get to the trails I enjoy I believe that it will do great. Every person buys their rig for what they want and need for their Family, therefore there happily
Is hopefully one to keep us all happy whatever our pocket books are loaded with.
May you all find the one for YOU.
Thanks Fred

I just traded in my 2013 JKUR for a 14 Trailhawk that was fully loaded with cold, tech, convienance, towing and off-road pkgs. it was a Jeep demo and only had 2000 miles on it. My jk had 38009 miles on it when I moved it. Being in WI, 37900 of those were hard road miles

The KL tows 4500 lbs, my JKU only was rated at 2000? It was still less than a JK and has more room and is much more comfortable!

. With the trade, my payment is $30 less on a shorter term. The fuel savings is huge too.

This is a capable off-roader. Of course, it is not going to compare to modded JK's on Rubicon, but is acceptable on moderate trails.
