Great pics. I have been wanting to do that run for a while now. I just have to do it when I can camp since it's a few hours from Tucson.

I'm trying to figure out where you entered the Cherry Creek Rd. I usually get on it in Young. Did you enter it on the Globe-Young Rd. just east of Roosevelt? I hope to get up my my secret camping spot this Christmas.

We took the 188 out of Globe then turned on to the 288. From there we drove quite a ways to the Northern end of NF-203 and took that South until it spit us back out on to the 288.

Does anyone live in that cabin?
Shame about the scratched on graffiti on the wall and that a 4wd club had to be the ones to do it...makes us all look bad....unless it is something the cabin owner invites people to do (then it would be important to reference that with the photo).

Never been on Cherry Creek that I can recall, will have to check it out.

You're right, it is a shame about the graffiti. The story is that the cabin is inhabited at least part time. I think someone referred to it as the P&B Cabin. I'll remove the photo.....

Heck yeah man, the Expo rocks :sombrero: If the Jeep wasn't covered in mud you could have seen my Expo stickers!

Did you make it up to Flag on Sunday like you were planning? How was the snow up there?

yep! it was snowing tons at the cinders sunday morning, big wet flakes. we had fun playing in the snow! it also washed nearly all the mud off!
