Some undisguised photos of the next generation Colorado have been posted on a web site in Thailand. Thanks to Autoblog for sharing them. Photos are found on this page. Scroll down to view the images.

Industry observers say the chance of the new Colorado making it to USA is slim. It's easier for GM to lower the price for a stripped Silverado 1500. Maybe some day the import duty for new trucks entering USA (25% today) will be lowered so imports of trucks from Thailand will be economically feasible.

Or the US manufacturers (previously known as Big 3) will return to the time of making a smaller truck that was priced at 75% of a full size instead of the current pricing model.

In one of the major 4 Wheel Drive magazines today, I saw a news tidbit that said GM is planning to introduce the new Colorado in the U.S. (I hope they do, especially if it comes with the turbo-diesel). In another magazine, they said the Colorado's future in the U.S. was uncertain. Let's home the first one was correct!

That's excellent news! I can seriously see the crew cab paired with a diesel and a flippac as my Trailblazer replacement. Daddy like!

Don't really care for the front end but give me a baby duramax and I'll get over it. This with a flatbed/xpcamper set up would be awesome. ...Oh and hi from a lurker who never post.
