Chevy Colorado box delete option

Chevrolet now offers a box delete option for the Colorado midsize pickup. With the pickup box and rear bumper removed, the cargo rating of the truck jumps tp 2200 lb. I'm sure we'll see flatbed / tray and utility body options from accessory manufacturers.

The bad news from an ExPo perspective is that, at the moment, the bed delete option is available for rear wheel drive models only. The Package does include a G80 locking rear differential.

This is good for fleet buyers, who don't want the hassle of removing a lot of truck beds, then trying to find buyers for them.

For those doing a one off build, it is probably more profitable to buy a truck with a box, and then sell it.
