Chevy GMT800 - Fan for Transmission Cooler?

Hey Guys.

Doing a long, crawl up a rocky road this weekend and the trans temp started getting up near the red. The red starts at 230º. Looked like I was about 220º.

I do have the stock trans cooler. Never had a problem on the highway because there is plenty of flow.

Thinking I might install a little pusher fan on the trans cooler. Any thoughts on this?

Actually not a bad idea with an extra fan. I would probably go with one of the many aftermarket fan/cooler set_ups out there. I am am sure you could google a thousand different ones in any price class...
