Has anybody tried getting one of the Chinese manufactured off road trailers? Sometimes you're paying for quality when you buy locally made ones, but sometimes you're just paying for higher cost of doing business. I'm hoping to avoid a giant flame war, but we'll see.
It seems that a lot of the Australian market ones are manufactured in china. And they do build things rugged.
I talked to a few manufacturers and got a quote for $4100 plus shipping for this one, including awning, tent, battery, inverter, water tanks and sink but not propane tanks or the actually burners. It's way cheaper than the US options, of course i'm sure the quality isn't as good.

Another manufacturer who does the Exodus Campers (which sell for $20k to $80k finished in Australia) were quoting $6k for this: http://chinametalfabrication.en.ali...dle_Professional_heavy_duty_Jockey_wheel.html
Has anybody tried getting one of these? I'm sure that it'll not be perfect but rather the base for a project.
Thoughts?
