I just picked up this beauty a couple of days ago.
Found her on CL with the motor torn apart.
Made an offer of $1300.00 and she was all mine.
She sits bone stock right now, 3.4L, Auto trans, on 32's.

Plans are:
First put the motor back together and get it running.
Then have some fun with her before any mods take place.

A friend had a motor he picked up out of another T100 and said I could use it / or maybe buy it from him. So the work begun!

Got the dead one out!

And put the used one in.

I'll have more updates in a few days!!! Need to get everything hooked up and see if this motor will run!

Well I got her running and cleaned her up a little.
Right now I'm doing a run down to see what else is wrong with her.
I've got a little vibration that comes and goes at different speeds.
Not sure if its the tires or not, it's been sitting in one spot for over a year.
I've managed to put almost 400 miles on her since the weekend.
She runs and shifts pretty good.
I will update some pictures a little later.

Needs more burnouts to take out the flat spots hahahaha
Good luck with the t100. I'm surprised the motor was bad. I look on craigslist all the time and they constantly have 300k on them.
How many miles where on the stock motor?

The original motor had 295K on her.
looked like the PO never changed the oil in it for all its life... after taking it apart there was cooked oil coated the whole pan and had to really scrape it out.
I think he had ran it hot and starved the motor from oil causing piston and block damage and not to mention the heads.
The Cams wore in the journal and locked up stripping the timing belt. the oil passage ways were clogged with burnt oil.
What a mess it turned out to be, nothing could be reused, block were grooved too deep.

Well guys it's been awhile since I posted on my build.
Here's a little update...

After running the truck for about a month, the motor I ended up putting in ran fine!
Had no problems with leaks, knocks, or ticking at all. then all of a sudden I noticed that the overflow bottle was filling up and dumping coolant on the ground.
Changed the radiator cap and still did it. then one day I started her up and it started kind of funny with a miss then ran normal so I drove to work.
When leaving work it started the same way as it did in the morning with a miss than ran fine.
About 5 minutes after I start to notice white smoke from the tail pipe and I knew it! The head gasket blew.
I believe it had around 250K on her, so now back to square one, took it apart (sorry no pics) #6 cylinder exhaust side blew, everything looks real good.
Since i was noticing a little lower oil pressure, I've decided I'm going to replace the thrust, mains and rod bearings to see if it will help with building pressure and changing out the sensor.

It's been a slow process due to lack of daylight and lots of rain. (Got to love this Oregon weather) lol. Hopefully she will be back on the road soon.
I'll keep you posted.
