This seems like a good deal for the engine/miles, but maybe not for the year? What do you guys think about the asking price?

Personally, I think that $52,000 for a 17 year old Ford van is ridiculous. But that could just be sour grapes on my part. :)

Compared to market it is pretty reasonable when I look at what I've seen other Sportsmobiles sell for lately.

It's a lot of $ but that's about the going rate for a 7.3 SMB. Actually that's the going rate for a 7.3 SMB with 200K miles so you would be getting a pretty good deal IMO. That motor will easily run for 350K+ miles if properly maintained.
