Talked to the owner via email last night....Truck is still available...would be a great truck to bust around town in...back and forth to Home Depot.

I just shot him an email. I am local and want to see if he will trade it for my Subaru that I have on CL for $12k.

ETA: I talked to him and the truck seems awesome, however it is really small and I want something bigger. I am not a little guy...

This is a cool little item. My first mini-pickup was a 1970 Datsun in college. My Dad had for a time a 1973 Hilux, replacing it with a 1981 that I finally sold last year with 60 000 miles on it. (I couldn't get him to buy a 4WD way back then, or even consider the Land Cruiser, or I might still have it). I have a 2001 Tacoma now. Yep, I like small trucks.

I'm 6' 6" (198 cm), so room in these things has always been an issue. The Tacoma's OK, but a mini-pickup with body-on-frame construction will always have my knees almost up to my ears. The price of a compact.

The Stout is a *very* early Toyota. In my life, I think I've seen one or two of them. Very neat.
