I'm selling my *unfinished* trail Jeep. Is there a classifieds section of the forum that I'm missing? Can I post that here?

Did you even look?? Go to the forum home page and scroll down, but you may not get any interest because you are new and have no reputation, just saying.

I want to publicly say that Black your comments are rude and unwelcoming...just so everyone knows Expo is about playing nice.

Lance, I too believe that Black comes across sometimes as 'curt', but I don't necessarily think it a reflection of his personality (necessarily).
I think is "behind the computer" syndrome. Sometimes folks just blurt out something they might not say in person, ... without giving much thought.

I have seen good come from Black as well. But— to give props to Lance- This place is about playing nice. It is a privately owned party. (think about a party at your house- someone comes in and start making everyone uncomfortable- do not give thought to the fact that the are a guest, ... you know the feeling).
So, let's keep the snideness to ourselves and help folks out. I am an admin here and I get dozens of e-mails each week from folks saying they have a personal truck for sale ... and can they sell here ... and if so ... where!?! Seems obvious to those of us that have been around ... but not to new folks.

What threw me off was the ad in the middle of the forum - I thought I was at the bottom & didn't see more forums under the ad.

For several years I moderated a Jeep forum and was an officer in a club, and I take it all with a grain of salt & shot of tequila. As the youngest of 5 children, I have a pretty thick skin... and a kinda twisted sense of humor. While I think of it, if any 4Wers remember me and didn't like me, well, I'm not part of the Association Wars anymore. I've let go & moved on, no hard feelings, hope for the same back. When my mom warned be about "getting a reputation" I didn't realize it applied to more than sleeping around.

Well, first I bought a dual sport motorcycle, then my husband bought a dual sport, then he also got a Harley, then I bought a Royal Enfield. My daily driver is a Jeep, so, I won't be getting stuck in any snowbanks, but serious 4wheeling is just too expensive - besides, finding legal places to go is very difficult. We had access to some private land, but have to be careful of over-use. Of course, there's only a couple legal, public areas to ride bikes offroad.... I also camp, dabble with climbing, snowshoe (used to ski, but my equipment is so old now...), hunt, and just about anything else outdoors I can do without dying of exposure.

I've also been involved in advocacy - as a member of New England Trail RIders Assoc. I worked with a lobbyist to change laws and policies for the benefit of off-highway enthusiasts.... went to a NOHVCC national conference and all sorts of way fun stuff like that.

well, Welcome to the Forum!
that sounds pretty cool, We need to do some serious political work here in AZ, at least in the valley, they have closed off so many trails and really I don't blame them, we get all these kids going out and trashing the trails. but a lot of the clubs will go out often at least on the more popular trails like Table Mesa and do trail clean ups.
