This truck started as a 1977 F100 300 6cyl, 57,000 original miles, 3 speed manual, manual steering, non power brakes with factory A/C and cargo light that I rebuilt 4 years ago. I have put 15k on it since, all parts were new when built.
It now has a 1978 F250 frame, 460 8cyl with a C6 auto, 4x4, power brakes, power steering and factory air. Aluminum radiator, will never over heat or vapor lock even at 100 degree day. Engine is out of a 1989 motor home that had 46k miles on it. 750 holley electric choke, vacuum secondary. Dana 60 full floating rear axle with 3.54 gear ratio, Dana 60 front axle, new driveshafts and u joints. 38 gallon fuel tank. New heater core and blower motor last year. Used all new body bushings, new rear leaf springs, all new rear brake parts except has no e brake cables, all new front brakes, rotors, calipers, hub seals bearings etc. Stainless steel brake lines. Transfer case rebuilt. Firestone 285/75r-16 Destination a/t tires. Flaming river steering shaft. Trailer hitch, 7 prong trailer plug, trailer brake box. A/C works great. This truck drives better than it probably did new. everything works except for these 3 things don't, back up lights, neutral safety switch and no e brake cables on the rear. Left front fender dented, and has just a little body rust. There's no rust at all on the frame.
