here is a version of it

but in mine, the rack will be closer to the rear. the long rear arm, that goes at a 45* angle, will have an extension inside of it. this way i can reach the 11' 5" reach, and still have it fold up and lock in place next to the 8' rack!

Drove to Buena Vista on sunday, and swapped my 10K 33" KM2's for some 5K 35" old style MTR's. was a great deal for me! looking to go to the junk yard and get the rear leafs i need to do the 52/56" swap and achieve a 4" lift. also will start the teardown of the heads to get a look at them and see if there good or cracked.

also played around with the idea of making the awning a full tent with a removable wall.

^^^ Wow, you really take lifting your suburban seriously! Maybe you should look in to buying a bush plane instead. LOL

I like your idea and was thinking of putting an awning on my suburban too, I am probably just going to go with one that you see on RV’s.
