So.... I'm gonna try some home brew antenna building. 2 technical questions I'd like to throw out there. Does anyone know if someone makes UV resistant speaker wire? Or would I be better off with zip cord. Second. wouldn't it be just as good to use plain old 14g? instead of the speaker wire? since it's going to be shorted anyway? http://www.dxzone.com/cgi-bin/dir/jump2.cgi?ID=17164 With just minor variations, this is pretty much the standard. without a collection of test equipment I'm at a loss, and I think it's something simple eluding me.
