Coleman Lantern holder for awning

I was thinking of ways to hold my Coleman lantern off of my awnning for early morning / night cooking. :chef:Ths is what I came up with. Pretty easy... a peg board tool holder. :wings:They come in many sizes mine is @ 8" long you could go longer if you want. Start by lowering the awnning all the way done in the travel mode. Next take a marker and draw a line on the part that rises out of the holder right at the top of the holder. Now raise the riser up a few notches. Measure about 1/2" down from your mark. using a square :chef: scribe a new line. This will be the line you will drill your holes on. Take your peg board holder and put the pins on the line and mark the locations for your holes, make sure you center them up on the alum tubing. Use a center punch and mark the locations. Use a drill bit one size larger than your pins and drill your holes and your pretty much done! Install your bracket like you were putting it on a peg board. When you are done store it in the bin or what ever you have Cost @ 3 dollars. Less than 15 min from start to finish. KISS system.. Keep It simple stupid.:victory:
