I've done a fair bit of internet mining and searched this site and other forums and wasn't able to find a comparo of the products from these two companies. My search stems from a need to replace my Energi To Go, disposable lithium battery cell phone charger with a new system. I've been looking hard at the Goal Zero Guide 10 Adventure/Mobile kit, but recently stumbled on Brunton's line of solar chargers and battery packs. I'm eyeballing the Restore http://store.bruntonoutdoor.com/portable-power/panels-and-chargers/restore-trade-black/ from Brunton as an alternative to the Goal Zero kit. Definately, I require a battery pack, multiple ways to charge (house, car, usb), and solar capability as well. So far, I've only found a few negative comments about both products, but more positive comments on both sides. Anybody have any real world comparison of the two kits or variants? Obviously, there are advantages to the Goal Zero setup, as I can use it with any AA/AAA powered device, but more than likely, whatever I get will just live in a deployment bag most of the time and see little use.
Also, does any one have opinions of the Brunton power packs? Is there something better?
