Composite panels question.

Hi There.
My first question on here although I have been lurking for a long time & killed hours reading others build threads.

I was wondering what the life expectancy is of the bonded together composite panels that have become so popular to build the camper bodies from?

Thanks
Alex

As long as you protect your panels from UV they should last at least 30 years. Our FRP is coated with a protective coating that should last for a long time. Other manufacturers require a heavy (and expensive) automotive finish to shield them from the UV rays.

Cheers,
Andreas

Thank you for the reply.

I hadn't thought about the UV degrading the panels.
I was more concerned about them de-laminating.
Your suggested life is triple what I was expecting anyway:)
