it will get more attention and is more fun for readers to see little update threads on each project.

however, for yourself, it's great to have this one massive thread that details out the entire evolution of your vehicle. i love going back and seeing how mine all started and knowing that all the info is in one place... if someone ever asks "what backspace are those wheels", or "how did you make that rack" or whatever, then i just pull up my thread, hit "search this thread" and find the post that answers the question for them.

Mebbe so but you can always search by title. Its easier finding a title than going thru a long thread just to find some post about something. I think it would be better for google too.

I actually love this idea!

Build threads... bolt by bolt, mod by mod, thread by thread.

wow, what a great idea.

Also, when people have items for sale, they should have little individual posts for each item instead of grouping stuff into one BIG POST.

Big posts are hard to read and confusing, and you never know what's what

So much easier to search when you do individual threads. Wow!

I really think we're on so something here.

Thread 1: Bolt 1
Thread 2: Bolt 2
Thread 3: Lifting ratchet
Thread 4: Switching ratchet to tighten

Consolidated is better for when you are keeping up with Expo every day. Separate posts with good titles is better for when you are searching for info a year or two later. You do what ever you think is best, there is no right or wrong way, just different ways. I will happily read either one.

One pet peeve of mine is generic titles to threads. For example, there are many titles like "Look what I did!", which are about topics ranging from axle installations, to new trips, to bungee jumping. It makes the information in the thread so much harder to find in the future. Doing a search by title works so much better when you are looking for advice on a topic and you want to find threads that discuss it, not merely mention it.

One build thread.
If you make 100 mods to your vehicle, do you really think it's worth while for the website to host 100 different threads?
They're going to need new servers every 2 months if we went that route...
