Yesterday my wife and I were wondering what to do with our afternoon. There were some mountains to the northwest of Grand Junction Co we hadn't been to yet so we busted out Google Maps and found a road that looked like it went into them. We loaded up the cruiser and went for a short afternoon adventure. We headed up Baxter Pass which is close to Rangely Co. We had never been up this direction to it was all new to us. Incredible country back there! Lots of oil and gas projects down low. The weather was getting questionable towards the top and we decided to call it once we summited. I didn't want to drive down in the slick mud. The area was definitely intriguing and made us want to go back and check out more of the area asap! Enjoy the pictures!
