The sucky thing about copart is that you have to be dealer or broker in most states to bid. I would've loved to have bid on this.

Copart has a bunch of approved Brokers that you can use to bid. Of course they charge a fee, but as low as $200. All (that I checked) required a refunded deposit, but Copart requires that if you are going to bid higher the $1000 anyway.
I check Oregon mostly and most auctions are 'normal person bid-able'. Some are dealer/broker, but I think that has to do with the consignee.
That was a verycool LC and I think a great deal at $8,500 already landed in the states. I would have loved to have it also.
