couple of suburban issues I could use help on

I have a few issues with my good ole suburban,

1. Rear wiper works intermitantly...Any ideas on the fix? switch, motor, wiring I should look for?

2. Battery seems to drain quickly. I do have a sno pro plow attached. So that could be a problem.

3. 4wd shifts funkely! ha ha. press one button and another mode cuts in. etc.

Is it the '05? If so, I had a bunch of electrical issues, from 4wd switching on or off randomly on start to charging issues (thank God for dual bats and isolators). I took every aftermarket electronic piece off, and finally chased it down to bad battery grounds. The factory replacement was 105 bucks, so I built my own out of left over 4ga stereo wire and terminals. The battery grounds to (on my truck) 2 points, one on the engine block, one to the chassis below the radiator. When I replaced the wires, I sanded the paint and corrosion off of the vehicle side, and used alcohol to clean the surfaces. Afterwards, all of my issues went away, my lights got brighter, truck started faster, and all my windows went up and down faster, with much less dimming of interior lights on a heavy current draw.
