Craig's 2006 4runner build thread

New here and just starting my build. I picked up an 06 4runner Sr5 that was bone stock in November 2016 to explore and enjoy peace and quiet in the WA woods. I wanted to lift the rig right away and talked myself out of it due to my daughter needing to drive it during the summer while visiting, so I will wait on that till after the summer.

I have built a switch panel holder for 6 switches in place of the sun glass holder.




Built a battery tray for second battery for about 40 (could have been 20 if I was not afraid to cut my PS resivor braket up) bucks that looks factory installed.




Once the tray was built I researched (from this forum) and installed my dual battery system with relay.





I added the drawer system to the back to keep all the stuff I will be carrying some what organized.





I have a PrinSu rack on order (if it ever gets here) to install and get the CVT tent installed on it.

I have a few trips planned for the summer and cant wait to get out there and explore.

I will continue to learn from all of you on this forum and hope I can assist where I can.

Looks great man, and nice to see another 4th gen! What does the relay do? Got any pics of the exterior?

The relay box is a fuse/relay box that allows me to hook up lights, fridge, and other accessories to the spare battery and keep it isolated from my starting battery so I do not get stranded out exploring. I could have used individual relays fuses but decided to keep it clean under the hood.

I guess I have done a few other modes as well..

Black out the headlights, RCI rock sliders, CBI ditch light bracket, mesh grill.

I need to get a proper thread put together that is organized like others and not just pictures thrown on a post.
