Yeah I'll get those pics for you, The 4WD emblems are off a honda passport. It has old man emu HD ZJ coils up front with a 2" spacer, stock YJ schocks, Ford super duty sway bar links and clayton long arms. The back right now has a SOA with MJ 4wd long bed springs and stock f250 shocks, they're too tall so I'll be putting my 2wd shortbed springs back on sometime. ends up being like 5.5" lift up front, and 7" in the back. it evens out with the 2wd springs.

So would you say around 4.5"? It looks perfect with the 255/75's!

My paint on my jeep isn't saveable unfortunely..So many paint chips where its bare metal and starting to rust..so a sand, primer & paint are in order. And that looks like its got a decent finish..from the pics its got a semi-gloss look to it..no runs or anything? Did you wetsand? And about how many coats?
I like that look alot better than the flat desert tan military look and I think it'll fit on a daily driver much better!

I did wet sand the primer, took my time and made it real smooth for the paint. Then applied 3 coats of Rustoleum sand, never sanded the paint itself at all. I've painted 4 trucks now like this so I don't get runs haha. They last at least 5 years, my first one was a '91 s10 when I was a teenager and about 5 years later the paint on the roof started to chip away, from the hot Florida sun shining on it everyday. I pay more attention to the prep now, so I'm hoping to get 10 years or so out of this paint.

This is awsome, thanks for the tips..Rustoleum is what I'll be using:)

You're welcome, yeah they are driving lights. I fabbed up a bracket today for the transfer case shifter to accommodate the TJ NV3550 in the MJ, so nice to be able to shift from inside the truck finally, with the snow coming sooner than later it wouldn't have been fun getting under the truck to shift it.

Hmmm wonder if that works on a Ax15 as well?
Unfortunely I may be trading my Xj for a 98 accord 4 door 4 cly so I have a daily driver again..I need a xmember made but prices are outrageous near me & the jeep guys who want/willing to help all live 4+ hrs from me and the Xj can't drive lol..so with towing cost it all equals out about the same. Its killing me.

Yeah it would work on a ax-15 as long as it's off a TJ. Why can't you pull a crossmember from a junkyard? your setup custom?

Ax15 into a 88. So bolts in the frame are 4" forward. My current bolt holes, 2 are stripped (thanks PO) & the other 2 studs are all that holds it in..its just not safe to move. Anyway to remotely make my setup work I used a Tj mount bolted straight to my trans vs using a trans plate thats on a normal cherokee trans. And since I'm using the TJ mount I had to rig up my crossmemeber..had to drill holes for the mount to bolt to it & nothing lines up right lol.
Even buying an aftermarket one didn't work for me..the whole didn't line up at all for my trans mount. If I used a trans plate & normal XJ mount then a aftermarket xmember would work but I won't have the holes in my frame to bolt it on the frame as the Xmember will now mount 4" back...and I don't have the means to do that kinda work.
I pm'd a local to me member..he's been helpful so far so I'm gonna see if maybe me and him can work something out. If not then the Xj's gotta go..local shops want over a grand to do the work which is ludicris as all I'm using is a simple piece of 2x4 which will need 4 holes for the trans mount drilled & the mounting points on the body worked out..if I supply the metal the best I could get was 800 & thats bottom dollar which is a variable price..meaning if they want they can charge more.
I hate all my local shops!

I can imagine, I have everything here to fab one up. If only I wasn't 2k miles north haha I would try and find a cheap 2wd H.O. and swap all your good stuff to it. A good buddy of mine has a couple XJ's, he just bought a '92 2wd 2 door for $350 and is putting a 4wd AX-15 in it that he had laying in his shop. These jeep parts are so interchangeable, one of the main reasons I picked my MJ is because of parts availability.

I'm still gonna pay about the same there lol..at least 800 minimum if not then it'd have many problems or major back fees. I'm saving my pennies but a college kid, with a kid, girlfriend goes to college to, all on my 1 job isn't working out to great lol. I'm gonna do my damdest to keep this thing..gonna hold off till Nov. to make a trade or sell it..if I could get passed my damn crossmember problem I'd be set & I'd hate to give it up just cause of that..way to much money & time invested now! Too much love invested in this jeep....I'd probably cry if it ever left me.

Don't worry.....its coming. Last night we got our first snow down on my end of the Cabinets about a thousand feet above the valley bottom. It looks like wet sticky snow that just got on the treetops so it will probably melt off once it warms up this afternoon. I don't know about Libby but down here we usually have over a foot on the ground that isn't going anywhere before Thanksgiving.

I live right off the bank of the Kootenai river, so valley bottom pretty much, there wasn't any snow this morning but the conditions did seem right for it, really cold and cloudy/misty out.
