Cross Country Trip (a little late...)

I have been meaning to post some pics from our cross country trip, 6 months ago, so here they are. Better late than never I guess.

We picked up our Discovery in L.A. , by way of Hawaii, and drove to Virginia. The route consisted of stops in San Diego, Joshua Tree, Moab, Grand Canyon, Aspen, Fort Collins, Nashville, Charlotte, and finally Alexandria, VA... This was not the most direct route by any means, but we wanted to take our time and see some sites. We did it in about three weeks, and enjoyed very minute of it.

Thanks to all who helped refine the route last April.

How'd the Disco do on the trip, any issue?

Disco performed well. No issues at all, and I was amazed how capable it was offroad, especially being stock and loaded (overloaded) with gear and stuff.

I had it serviced at LR Miramar before we left San Diego, as the AC needed to be recharged and I didn't have time to do it before leaving Hawaii.

But like I said, no issues, and I am very pleased with the vehicle thus far.

Definitely interested. I was hoping to make a solo (with my dog) trip down there the weekend of 17-18 Jan. Maybe camp out depending on weather.
