Looking at getting a rooftop tent, but would like crossbars on it so I can mount some recovery gear (traction boards, shovel, hi-lift jack). Roofnest just came out with an updated Sparrow with crossbars, but the price tag is hefty. I was wondering if anyone has added crossbars to thier hardshell tent successfully? Seems like it would be easy, just need to add some support on the inside so the fiberglass can handle some weight.
