2009 EPA mpg ratings in combined city/highway driving.

These are the most fuel-efficient variants of each model, so if
you purchase a model with larger engine or auto transmission,
the ratings will be different.

One reason I got started on this list was to compare today's new SUVs with the reported 25-26 mpg that Roseann's 60 series Land Cruiser gets with its new 3.0L Navistar engine.

Conclusion: It looks like Roseann's 60 is a lot more fuel-efficient than any similar-size new SUV we can buy today.

At some point it would be informative to measure pollutant levels from the 3.0L diesel engine as installed in the Cruiser.
