Custom full size truck bed with a RTT ~ I need some ideas~

I'm looking for pictures and ideas of full size truck beds set up with a RTT, fridge, etc.



Here is what I currently have, still waiting on tent to get here so I can get better measurements. And just FYI, the carpeted plywood laying on top of the rails is just there for mock up, the RTT will be bolted directly to the rails.

nice truck, i own a 86 chevy K10, i had an RTT on it, something very similiar to what you are building, from my experience it drove me nuts, you loose alot of bed space doing it that way. if i could do it again i would build a rack, at the front of the box, so that the top of the tent was as high as the cap roof, so the rack would lift it approx 18-20" off the bed rails, that way you dont sacrifice clearance, and these trucks are super flexy, and i ended up breaking the frame on mine due to this. so build it sturdy.

I found mounting mine down low--just off the bed rails was a total pain. I spent a lot of time making nice mounts and everything just to rip them out after two camping trips. I could not access anything easily and I also had poor rear visibility. My current stand places half the tent above the cab and half below by doing that I can see out my rear window (that helps a ton off road) and I can also access everything below.
